Here is the link to submit your application for media accreditation at the European Aquatics Championships to be held in Budapest. Please note you may register for a remote coverage via a special platform – see the details below.
You have three options, please choose one in the top field of the form.
• Zone 1 (Covid tested)
Choose this if you opt to stay inside the ‘bubble’ during the event. It means that you:
+ book a room in the official media hotel with full board (breakfast/lunch/dinner boxes will be available upon request) – those who have not booked it yet: send a mail to this address: [email protected]
+ use only the official transport (included to the hotel package)
+ undergo regular testing (included to the hotel package)
+ have access to the Media Centre and the Media Tribune
+ have access to the mixed zone and chance to interview the athletes
• Zone 2 (non-tested)
Choose this one if you want to attend the event but only watch it on site. It means that you:
– have access to a restricted area of the public tribune (higher rows, above the 50m turn) with entrance from the street
– have NO ACCESS to the mixed zone and to the media centre
– arrange your accommodation, transport on your own.
• Zone 3 (remote coverage)
Choose this one if you wish to gain access to the special platform maintained by EBU (Eurovision) in cooperation with LEN.
+ this is a virtual interviewing platform, though using this option will depend on the respective National Federations’ press officers who could book time slots and bring in the athletes on their discretion. Details will be available soon.
+ flash quotes, extended start lists will also be available from this site
+ if you register yourself, you will receive an access code to the platform.
Please note, if you are coming from abroad and choose either Zone 1 or Zone 2, you’ll receive an invitation letter from the Organising Committee which you have to present upon your arrival at the airport (or at the border control should you come by car or train). You MUST also present a negative PCR test, taken maximum 48hrs prior to your arrival and it should be in English.
If you have any questions, please let us know.
All the best,
LEN Media Manager
